Cut peeled potatoes into strips, rinse with water and dry well. Dice onions and sauté lightly in a pan. Pile up 2/3 of the potato strips into a buttered dish. Add onions on top of the potatoes with Nopeat Ham Strips. Season with pepper, salt and add the rest of the potatoes on top. Pour half of the cream on top of everything and put in the oven in 200 degrees for 20 minutes. Add the rest of the cream and continue to roast in the oven in 170 degrees for about 25 minutes. Cover the dish with foil if the surface browns too much. Serve with pickled cucumbers and beetroots.
